In 2007, Jennifer Albin, creator of the Baby Bloak™ and
President of Sass and Fras, LLC, spent a night brainstorming an
alternative to the traditional coat for her infant. As she liked to
carry her son rather than carry the infant seat, she needed
something that was easy-to –use, wouldn’t interfere with safety
restraints, and was comfortable. She created a rear-access cross
between a blanket and a cloak that she affectionately deemed
the Baby Bloak.

Jennifer took her baby everywhere in his Baby Bloak and people
took notice. She sought testers all over the U.S.A. and moms loved
the bloak. In early 2008, she opened her website and within
months had shipped products to over thirty states and three
continents. The response to the Baby Bloak was overwhelming
and moms soon asked for lightweight and rain-proof styles.
The Baby Bloak is poised to start wholesale and boutique sales in
2009 and considering mass distribution by next fall.

The Baby Bloak exhibited at Baby Celebration L.A. and was featured in the Spring 2009 issue of K.C. Baby magazine.  It was also recently featured on thebump.com and on en episode of The Doctors.
